Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unflooded caldera in the world and it is home to a huge variety of African wild animals; here, more than any other place in Africa, you are most likely to see the big five within a few hours of game viewing. Lake Manyara national park is a place of large flamingo flocks, lions that dare to climb trees and a beautiful soda lake – all nestled within the walls of the Great Rift Valley. At Tarangire National Park, giants dominate the land; here large herds of elephants roam freely under giant ancient baobab trees.

During the long rainy season of April to June, the herds move back north to the hills. Although locations of herds vary from year to year depending on the amount of rainfall, our guides are experienced, so they know where to find the animals; due to their experience, they also know where the best vantage points can be found. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be at a lodge/ a wilderness camp inside the Serengeti.
